Common uPVC lock problems

What is involved

We inspect the door alignment, handles, keeps, cylinder and multipoint mechanism. Sometimes an adjustment or replacement gearbox is all that is needed. If the full mechanism has worn out, we explain the options before fitting it.

Price guidance

A uPVC multipoint mechanism is typically £180–£280. A euro cylinder lock change is £85–£120 fitted, or £110–£160 for a snap-resistant or anti-bump upgrade. No call-out fee. Prices are quoted before we set off, and held for two weeks.
