Call 07762 200339 — day or night
RG Locksmiths is based at 67 Thames Rd in Huntingdon, so we are already on your doorstep rather than an hour away down the A14. We answer the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and we cover the whole town and the villages around it.
One phone call is all it takes. You will speak to a local locksmith, not a call centre, and we will tell you straight away what the problem is likely to be, what it will cost and how soon we can get to you. If you are standing outside in the cold, stay on the line and we will talk you through what to do while you wait.
What happens when you call us
- You tell us where you are and what has happened.
- We give you a price on the phone, before we set off — no surprise when we arrive.
- We come to you with the tools to open almost any door without damaging it.
- We get you back inside, then check the lock and tell you honestly whether it needs replacing or will be fine.
What we can help with
- Locked out of your house, flat or business
- A key snapped off in the lock barrel
- A lock that has seized, jammed or will not turn
- A uPVC door mechanism that has failed or dropped
- A key that has stopped working, or a door that no longer closes properly
- A break-in, or a door that will not lock and needs securing tonight
- Lost or stolen keys — new locks fitted the same day
Huntingdon and the villages we cover
We are based in Huntingdon, and we cover the town centre, Hinchingbrooke, Hartford, Sapley, Oxmoor, Stukeley Meadows and the ring road area, plus Godmanchester, Brampton, Buckden, Alconbury, St Ives and the surrounding villages. If you are not sure whether we reach you, ring and ask — the answer is usually yes.
What it costs
You will be given a price on the phone before we set off, and that is the price you pay. Emergency call-outs are priced on the time of day and the work involved, so tell us what has happened and we will be straight with you.
No call-out fee. Prices are quoted before we set off, and held for two weeks. DBS checked and fully insured. Non-destructive entry wherever possible. Genuine 24/7 cover — weekends, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.
Our typical full emergency lockout attendance is from £95–£150, plus any parts and VAT.
Why people call us back
- Local — based in Huntingdon, not a national call centre with a number that redirects
- DBS checked and fully insured
- Non-destructive entry wherever it is possible
- Genuine 24/7 cover, including weekends and bank holidays
- We also do carpentry and building work, so we can sort the door itself as well as the lock
